Most of you would now think......."Who????"

But with a young teenage daughter in the house, who has already succumbed to the Bieber's virus, there's no escaping the fact, that our ears are subjected to teeny, tiny voices of teenage popstars through all sorts of media players.

And with the Net being so accessible and intrusive in practically every household, including ours,.....Laetitia stumbled upon this young fella last week on YouTube who is barely a few years her senior.

And boy oh boy.......Jess and me have always regarded J.Bieber as overrated, but this Greyson Chance's voice has something which in our opinion, Bieber lacks, instead of a baby voice, this little fella has a more well developed, matured voice (don't know where he gets it from, but it does struck a chord with Laetitia, and admittedly, Jess and me are also bit awestruck by this fella's talent).

Same story as Bieber, YouTube made him a hit with over 40 million views, next came appearances on talk shows and now he's touring around the globe, promoting his very first album.

As it happens to be, he stopped by at a shopping mall, a mere 10 mins from our casa, for an autograph session,......we might not go at length of giving in to all our daughter's wishes, but come on, can't deny her the opportunity of meeting an upcoming teenbop star tete-a-tete.

We thought we arrived pretty early, nearly 2 hours, before Greyson was to make his appearance, and blimey, the queue was already packed with predominantly excited teenage girls from one end of the mall to virtually the other end.

Ofcourse, in the middle of it was Laetitia, patiently queuing up by herself, .... daddy here roamed around the mall. (don't wanna people think me as a die hard fan, I definitely ain't :p)

Oh yeah, prerequisite of getting an autograph, was that each person had to purchase the CD.....do the calculations, over 500 chicks splashing their money on a CD, ..... "dzing, dzing"....cash register goes berserk.

2 hours to wait ain't that long, and then the popstar to be, made his entrance to the grand delight of his fans........"cheering, shouting, camera's clicking", oversized bodyguards circling him,.....definitely the works...

Bit hard to believe that this upcoming young star, can generate so much fuzz and buzz, but I'm proven wrong judging the reaction from his fans.

The autograph session was a bit of let down if you'd ask me,........... 2, 3 seconds at most for each fan, and hit the road Jack, next one!!!

Laetitia received the same treatment, but that didn't put her off......

Greyson is happy, our girl is happy, countless other girls (and a few boys) are also happy....I'd say it definitely was worth the effort of queuing up and spending a bit on buying his CD.

Hopefully this boy ain't a one-hit wonder......don't wanna see Laetitia switching allegiance on the spur of a whim......
