Back to our regular hideout

End of year, holiday season,....

And where do we wind up? Guess once........

Hong Kong ofcourse........yeah, yeah, we know....again Hong Kong?

If it wasn't for the existing free accomodation we readily admit we wouldn't be venturing so often to this place, as Hong Kong ain't that cheap to stay over.....

But thanks to budget airline, AirAsia, a family trip to Hong Kong doesn't hurt our wallet that significantly........that is, if you are pint sized and don't mind flying "super coach"....but you don't catch me talking bad about this airline.......human service wise they are on par with full fare carriers.

Anyway, December in Hong Kong is a blessing.........temperatures are quite mild, humidity is practically non-existent and it's a chance for us to escape from the year round tropical temperatures that prevail in Kuala Lumpur.

Ermmmm.......our daughter has become older and moreover BOLDER too......she readily admitted to us that she didn't want to join us on this Hong Kong trip, "Hong Kong again?!?".......so in order to entice her to come with us, we bought a return ticket for her cousin sister to come along with us to HK, so that Laetitia has some "company"........

Grmmblll, kids nowadays...........you give them a finger, they want your hand....you give them a hand, they want your arm......where will this end up? Your guess is as good as ours.....

I digress.........back to good ol' Tai Po Market now......conveniently out of bustling, congested, polluted Kowloon or HK island, but still with all the amenities that urban living is able to offer.....and heck, conveniently close to the border crossing with China......in fact, we are much closer to China than to Kowloon or HK island,.........ease of travelling around, ain't it? And not the least, the tasty, delicious Cantonese cuisine....mjum, mjum, mjum...

Here we go again,......R&R in Hong Kong !!!, Rest, sleep, eat, relax, rest, sleep, eat, relax..........Life is beautiful........
